Product Overview
The NX-PT200 is a SIL2-certified smart differential pressure transmitter for demanding process applications. Its fully welded metal sensor and 316L stainless steel isolating diaphragms deliver long-term stability of ±0.1 % URL over five years. It measures DP, gauge, absolute and flow (via primary elements) and speaks HART 7, PROFIBUS PA and FOUNDATION Fieldbus — dropping straight into any DCS or safety instrumented system.
Working Principle: A capacitive or piezoresistive sensor cell measures the deflection of two isolating diaphragms exposed to the high and low process pressures. The differential deflection changes the capacitance / resistance, which is linearised, temperature-compensated and digitally processed into a 4–20 mA + HART output proportional to the differential pressure.
