Product Overview

The NX-BV220 V-port ball control valve combines the tight shut-off of a ball valve with the modulating characteristic of a globe valve. Its V-notch ball delivers equal-percentage flow characteristics and 300:1 rangeability, making it the go-to choice for pulp stock, slurries, fibrous and high-viscosity fluids where solids and shear are unavoidable.

Working Principle: A pneumatic rotary actuator rotates a V-notched ball through 90°, progressively opening a shear-cut orifice against a spring-loaded metal or PTFE seat. The V geometry produces an equal-percentage flow curve, while the shearing action self-cleans the seat area on every stroke.
