Product Overview
The NexFlow NX-UFM-H Series Handheld Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow Meter is a portable, high-precision instrument designed for non-invasive flow measurement in full pipes. Utilizing transit-time ultrasonic technology, it accurately measures the flow velocity of conductive and non-conductive liquids without contacting the process fluid. Ideal for maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and energy audits, it supports a wide range of pipe materials and sizes from DN20 to DN6000.
Working Principle: The NX-UFM-H Series uses the Transit-Time Ultrasonic Principle. Two clamp-on ultrasonic sensors are mounted externally on the pipe. Ultrasonic pulses are transmitted alternately upstream and downstream through the flowing liquid. The difference in transit time between the two signals is proportional to the flow velocity. The instrument processes this information to calculate the volumetric flow rate without interrupting the process or penetrating the pipeline.
